The Police Station at Thorpe St.Andrew, Norwich, served the community for many years. It no longer had a place in modern Policing. The site was sold and domestic dwellings now take its place.
The S.S.' Resolute' once carried holiday makers around the Norfolk Broads. Seen here rusting at Lake Lothing (Suffolk), we believe she eventually fell prey to the cutters torch.
The Westwick Arch stood astride the B1150 between Norwich and North Walsham. Seen here on the 31st August 1981, its condition so dangerous that the road had to be closed. It was unexpectedly demolished the next day.

Causing considerable media interest at the time, the sailing ship 'Albatros' ran onto the mud flats at Wells-next-Sea in April 2002. These 2 photos show her still stuck on 24th May 2002, she was refloated the next day.
Hunstanton Pier, or what was left after the original disaster, caught fire in May 2002. This what was left on 24th May.
Recalling the great days of the herring fishing industry 20 years earlier, the preserved drifter 'Lydia Eva' leaves Gt.Yarmouth on 18th July 1976.
This parade of shops has stood alongside Plumstead Road East, Thorpe St.Andrew, Norwich for many years. Locals will remember Binghams Hardware Store.
A visit to the shops on the 16th December 2002 shows that demolition is complete and the foundations for the new buildings are under construction.
